Make sure to visit the former monastery of Vredeland, which dates from 1520. The vaulted ceiling of the refectory is particularly impressive. The farm house next to the church is always worth seeing. From 1788 to 1803, Frau von Friedland administrated the farms of Kunersdorf and Friedland. You can visit the family grave in Kunersdorf. The lakes and ponds invite you to relax, go angling or hiking. Observe the wildlife in the European bird reserve from the 2 observation towers. You will be seduced by the peaceful ambience of the Klostersee and Kietzer See lakes. Stroll through Altfriedland and discover the beautiful vicarage which dates from 1633.
